Former Channel 4 marketing head and The Outfit co-founder Niall Murdoch has brought together a specialist agency team, drawing on talent from across London’s media, creative and communications sector, to launch proptech start-up Hiizzy.
The launch is built around Hiizzy’s positioning that “the best person to sell your home already lives there”. The platform supports homeowners to sell their property themselves, transparently, with fixed pricing and no commission, giving them greater control of their sale.
The agency line-up brings together a predominantly London-based team of independent specialists across communications planning, creative, media, digital and PR.
Craft Media London is leading the communications planning, identifying Hiizzy’s priority audiences for growth and developing the communications architecture around them. BIRD London is bringing the wider brand thinking to life, developing the creative strategy and campaign work and London based Project5 is leading media planning and buying, including Hiizzy’s digital audio activity.
They are joined by WeareCrank is leading digital audience analysis, digital media planning and buying across paid social and search while Toast PR is leading PR and earned media.
Together, the team combines big-brand experience from London’s media and creative industry with the specialist and entrepreneurial approach needed for a start-up launch.
The team is supporting Hiizzy as it prepares to initially launch in the North of England, which the business has selected as its first major market ahead of wider expansion within the UK.
Hiizzy gives sellers the tools to bring a property to market, with AI-assisted listing functionality, property marketing, direct seller-buyer communication and access to professional services. They are currently developing technology to make selling homes transaction-ready from the point of listing including fixed pricing and no commission to give sellers greater control of their own sale.
Lewis Buckley, co-founder and CEO of Hiizzy, said:
“We’re entering a huge, established market with a very different proposition, so getting the launch right really matters.
“We’ve been quite deliberate about the people we’ve brought around the business. Niall has been fundamental to how we approach our strategic marketing in the UK and has helped us assemble a team of specialist agencies. We wanted experts who really know their area, but who are also happy to work together. It’s a strong team and, for us, that reflects how seriously we’re taking the next stage of Hiizzy.”
Murdoch said:
“Hiizzy is at that point where it needs really smart specialist thinking, but it also needs pace. The challenge was to find people who are excellent at what they do but nimble and proactive enough to work with a start-up. We’ve got that balance right. Everyone understands what we’re trying to achieve and is working towards the same goal and we’re delighted with the team we’ve brought together.”
Hiizzy was founded in 2024 by co-founders Allan Wood and Lewis Buckley. Greater Manchester is the first major market in its planned UK expansion, while the business is also developing further technology designed to make property transactions more connected, efficient and ultimately transaction-ready.
